We are currently looking for a Solution Analysts with banking experience
Knowledge and Skills Required
* Understanding of large scale systems that need to process and distribute large amounts of data efficiently
* An appreciation of IT system architecture
* MS SQL skills, MS Visio skills
* Plans and organizes own work effectively – self-starter and able to function independently yet part of a team
* Agile, Scrum, Lean and/or Kanban project management principles are an advantage
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Exposure in Systems Design.
* Exposure in Development.
* Elementary Quality Assurance
* Understanding of tools and methodologies in the system analysis domain
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Agile, Scrum, Lean and/or Kanban project management principles are an advantage
* Advanced Excel and MSAccess VBA skills
* Use of reporting frameworks (Business Objects, Qlikview) preferable
Education and Experience Required
* NQF Level 7 – relevant Honours degree or Post Graduate Certificate preferred
* 5 or more years’ experience in system development
* System or business experience in a Banking environment gained in a Finance, Product Management or Front/Middle Office role preferred.
