  1. Images of your restaurant (up to 6 images for the gallery carousel)
  2. Your menu and images of your food categories and food items
  3. Access to the icons we have designed for you

Access the SmartGuest Administration platform at: https://smartguest-admin.digiterra.tech/

Register your credentials:

  • Capture a username.
  • Capture your email address (will be used to login once).
  • Create your password and recapture it to confirm it.
  • Register!

Capture the name of your Restaurant.

Select the language of choice and click on edit

  • Capture a description that will appear on your restaurant welcome screen.
  • Capture details that will appear on the 'About Us' screen.

Select and upload the pictures that appear on your welcome page.  It is recommended to not upload more than 6 images.

Select Select 'Create a new Gallery Image'.

Services can include free wifi, pet friendly, wheelchair access - those value added services that patrons can enjoy.

Select 'Services' from the Restaurant Setup main menu dropdown.  Select 'Services' for the language of your choice. 

Capture the 'Name' that will appear above the icon.  Select the relevant icon from the pre-designed pack that is made available to you.

The services appear on the landing screen, under the Specials.

Polies are rules and regulations that govern the behaviour of patrons at your restaurant.  This can include a safety policy that outlines guidelines for social distancing and how they apply in your restaurant.

  • Select 'Policies' from the 'Restaurant Setup' main menu dropdown.
  • Select 'Policies' for the language of choice.

Select 'New'.

  • Capture a Name (heading) for your policy.
  • Capture a Description (one liner sub heading).
  • Capture the details of the policy.

Policies appear as expandable information items on the Policies screen.

  • Select 'Contacts' from the 'Restaurant Setup' main menu dropdown.
  • Select 'Contacts' for the language of choice.
  • Name:  Capture the Name or Title of the contact - Manager
  • Description:  Capture the Name of the contact
  • Upload an image of your contact and save.
  • Select 'Contacts' from the 'Restaurant Setup' main menu dropdown.
  • Select 'Contacts' for the language of choice.

SmartGuest produces a brochure for you to print out so guests can scan the QR code at your restaurant to quickl access your restaurant app through SmartGuest.

Save the brochure as a pdf and print it out, or crop out the QR codes to use in your own marketing material.

Meal sessions are the list of seating times (usually Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner) that appear for selection during the table reservation process.

  • Select 'Meal Sessions' from the 'Food & Beverage' main menu dropdown.
  • Select 'Meals' for the language of your choice.
  • Select the +New button to create your meal sessions.  These will appear as options to select as part of the reservation process.  Typical options are Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner - depending on what your restaurant offers.
  • Capture the Name of the session (eg Breakfast)
  • Select Save

SmartGuest provides 4 top level categories (slots) for your menu.  We have created a template for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Drinks, but these categories can be edited and renamed according to your menu layout.

 

Select 'Menu Display Slot 1' from the 'Food and Beverage' drop down.

Select your language of choice from the filter.

  • Click on 'Edit' to rename the category 
  • Click on 'Menu Items' to view or add 2nd level items to your menu category
  • Select 'New' for additional items, or 'Edit' or 'Delete' to change or remove an item.

Select 'Bookings' from the Booking information is listed on this screen to view, confirm or decline.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you do not see the "Add to Home Screen" option after you have opened the Mobile Gallery App installation link, you are most likely viewing from an unsupported browser (i.e. using the Gmail app on an iOS device, or the Twitter app from an Android device).

If you are using an iOS device, try copying the installation page link and opening it in the Safari browser. If you are using an Android device, copy the link and open it in the Chrome browser.
